2016 Stock Market Holidays

As you probably know, the stock market will be closed a few weeks from now on December 25 to celebrate Christmas.

Markets will also close early (1:00pm) on Christmas Eve, before shutting down entirely for Christmas Day.

That said, here’s a look ahead to the 2016 stock market holiday calendar.

The market will be closed:

Friday, January 1 – New Year’s Day
Monday, January 18 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day 
Monday, February 16 – President’s Day
Friday, March 25 – Good Friday
Monday, May 30 – Memorial Day
Monday, July 4 – Independence Day
Monday, September 5 – Labor Day
Thursday, November 24 – Thanksgiving
Monday December 26 – Christmas
